Wear your Celtic Knots Triquera Toe Ring with pride on the beaches this year ... but if it's a chilly day, wear it under your socks! Some people are wearing this as a Midi, or if you have very small fingers, this may even fit your pinkie.
The Triquetra has been adopted by many paths: in Latin it literally means "three cornered". For the Celts it symbolises the People of the Goddess, and the cycle of birth, death and rebirth. For Wiccans it symbolises the Triple Goddess (Mother, Maiden and Crone); for other Pagan paths it can symbolise Land, Sea & Sky, or Mind, Body & Soul; for the Norse traditions it is related to the Valknut (the Norse Triskelion); and it has also been used for the Christian Trinity. It is also known as the Trinity Knot. For others it is a symbol of Protection or Good Luck. More recently it has become known in the TV show "Charmed" taking on its pagan and celtic roots, and protecting the wearer from dark energies.
