This is a FANTASTIC Pendant full of Celtic/Pagan symbolism devoted to the Power of Three:
On each of the three points of the triangle there is a Triquetra symbol. The Triquetra has been adopted by many paths: in Latin it literally means "three cornered". For Wiccans it symbolises the Triple Goddess (Mother, Maiden and Crone); for other Pagan paths it can symbolise Land, Sea & Sky, or Mind, Body & Soul; for the Norse traditions it is related to the Valknut (the Norse Triskelion/Triskele); and it has also been used for the Christian Trinity. For others it is simply a symbol of Protection or Good Luck. More recently it has become known in the fab TV show "Charmed".
At the centre of this Pendant there is a circle which encloses the Spirals of Life symbol similar to that found on many ancient Irish stone carvings ~ the most famous of these is at Newgrange, County Meath, which dates back to 2500 BC. No one knows for sure the exact meaning of the spirals, but it is known that they were used whenever anything was to be marked as "Sacred". Many think that, like the Triquetra and the Triskele, it symbolises Life, Death and Rebirth; the three aspects of the Triple Goddess, or the powerful connection between the individual, the Earth and the Divine.
