Aum / Om & Buddha - Shoplivepages::jquery();?>
Om / Aum (also known as Omkara or Aumkara) is a sacred syllable uttered at the beginning of everything: the new day, a prayer, a journey, even writing a letter. It is the sound of creation. It is the name of God in its purest form. It is of paramount importance in Hinduism, representing the omnipotent and omnipresent Brahman. It symbolises both the manifest and unmanifest aspects of God, and it pervades life (past, present and future). This sanskrit version is sacred in both Hinduism and Buddhism.
